Stomach Soothing Smoothie

If your digestive health is in need of some extra TLC, try this refreshing and delicious smoothie.

Mango, pineapple, banana and ginger all have fantastic calming and soothing properties and can help to aid digestion. It’s naturally sweet too so kids will love it!

If you want to make this as a healthy breakfast smoothie, you could try adding some protein rich flax seeds or healthy protein powder to keep you feeling full for longer.


300g ripened mango

150 pineapple

1 large carrot

1 small banana

small chunk of ginger

a dash of lemon juice

a pinch of turmeric


Blitz up all the ingredients, adding water gradually until your smoothie is the consistency that you like.

Tip – instead of adding water, you could use ice for an extra cold smoothie – perfect for a hot summer’s day! IMG_8999
