Raw Chia Cacao Smoothie with Goji Berries and Dates

This is my favourite smoothie at the moment. A big glass of this is the best way to start your day, it’s so energising and full of goodness. I feel amazing after drinking it!

Raw cacao powder contains natural antioxidant acting flavonoids which not only protect the body from ageing but also from disease. Raw cacao is also rich in magnesium which can aid in symptoms of pain, fatigue, stress and insomnia. You can find a great bedtime version of this smoothie here

This recipe is gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan.

Ingredients (serves 1):

1 tablespoon of raw cacao powder

1 banana

2 tablespoons of chia seeds soaked overnight

2 medjool dates pitted

almond milk 

1 tablespoon of goji berries

Method:

Just place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy! Add a sprinkle of goji berries and chia seeds to top it off nicely.
