Cleansing Minty Juice

This juice is the perfect way to start your day, it will leave you rejuvenated, glowing and energised. The good news is that it also takes no more than 5 minutes to prepare!

Pineapple contains a compound called bromelain. The protein-digesting enzymes in it are thought to aid digestion. While not all studies agree on its effectiveness, bromelain is used worldwide as an anti-inflammatory, an anti-coagulant, and is thought to have anti-cancer properties.

Pineapple is an outstanding source of vitamin C and manganese, both of which help protect against cell damage caused by free radicals.

The cool mint blends perfectly with the refreshing pineapple, to create a wonderfully light and refreshing juice. Even better, fresh mint contains amazing healing properties which soothe digestion.

Ingredients (serve 4 glasses)

  • 1/2 pineapple
  • 1 handful of fresh mint leaves
  • 1 mug of fresh water
  • optional: 1 tbs of honey and 1 handful of raspberries

Method

  • Simply place all of the ingredients into your blender or juicer!
