If you’re a regular on food blogs, then you’ve no doubt heard about how you can blend up frozen bananas into a healthy ice cream stand-in. It’s almost unbelievable in that it is so easy, only requires one ingredient and absolutely no time, effort or skill, yet it tastes divine. This recipe is gluten and dairy free.
1) Simply remove the bananas from their skin, slice them into pieces and leave in the freezer over night.
2) Put the frozen bananas chunks into a food processor with a little bit of water.
3) Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. This should take a few minutes, depending on how many bananas you have used.
Maria’s tip: You could use some chopped fruit and nuts as a topping for this delicious dessert.
