Crispy Kale and Sea Greens Seaweed

By Nisha Patel - Pharmacist and Co-Founder -

This is my favourite snack at the moment. I’m more savoury than sweet (my tastebuds not personality….I hope!). So give me olives, feta cheese or nuts and I’m happy.

This dish was a little experiment of mine which I’m glad turned out okay. Better than okay in fact. It is delicious! Everyone who has tried it with the exception of my 4 year old loves it. But don’t worry it’s not just for adult tastebuds as my 2 year old is also addicted.

It’s so simple to make as demonstrated by the video above. Please also see recipe below. It can be eaten on its own as a snack or as an accompaniment with the following:

  • Soups or dhals
  • Salads
  • Meat or fish
  • Rice dishes
  • Eggs

It’s such a versatile veggie dish and to top this, it’s nutrient dense, high in iron and vitamin B12, gluten-free and perfect for vegans.

I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

    1. So glad you liked it Vaani. We all love it in my family and eat it almost daily. My eldest daughter isn’t so keen but she always gives it try so we’ll get her on board soon.
