My journey into natural health started about 10 years ago when I was working in the NHS. I witnessed a traumatic incident outside my house and suffered post traumatic stress disorder, I tried several medications and therapies to help get me back to work but nothing was helping. On an off chance I wandered into my local therapy centre and acupuncture caught my eye, after 3 sessions I was feeling much more like my old self and the scientist in me was hooked. I signed up to train as an acupuncturist that same month and 4 years later became a fully qualified acupuncturist and naturopath.

I have been in practice for 3 years now and have seen a whole host of conditions. My main focus has been fertility, pregnancy and children. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome at 16 and was told by my GP I would never have children. 14 years later and lots of acupuncture, I now have a beautiful one year old boy, who loves being treated with acupuncture and massage for all his coughs, colds, teething and tummy upsets.

Having gone through pregnancy, birth and baby, I know how important it is to have a natural option and tools to use to help yourself and your baby live the healthiest lives. That is why I am proud to call myself a family acupuncturist.
