Naira Wilson

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist. I completed my degree in Psychology at the University of East London (1994) and doctoral course in Clinical Psychology at Cardiff University (2005). I have also completed additional training in family therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness and dialectical behaviour therapy for young people with complex mental health difficulties.

I specialise in childhood mental health and have worked in the NHS, in various capacities, for 19 years. I currently work in a Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) for Oxford Health Foundation Trust. I am a guest lecturer for the Doctoral Course in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oxford and supervise other trained and in-training clinical psychologists and mental health professionals.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and British Psychological Society, which are the bodies that monitor my practice.

I offer a warm and friendly space in which young people and their families can feel safe to talk openly and will work collaboratively to find solutions to support you when things feel difficult.
