I’m a Cognitive Hypnotherapist and personal development coach based in Reading and Wokingham in Berkshire. I am passionate about helping people overcome anxiety issues and emotional blocks in their lives.
I believe that everyone is unique and that we all have the inner resources we need to improve our own well-being and happiness. Sometimes we just need to learn new skills, discover the power of our own minds or be guided to appreciate our own capabilities and strengths. People are often amazed how quickly they can feel better about themselves once they let go of limiting beliefs and emotional blocks.
I first discovered the power of hypnotherapy when I was pregnant with my second child. I was terrified of giving birth again after going through a traumatic birth experience with my son. Hypnotherapy and hypnobirthing not only gave me the confidence to plan a home-birth the second time around but also enabled me to have the most beautiful and calm birth experience. The transformation and wonderful skills I learnt were life changing and truly empowering. I saw them as a gift and felt compelled to share this gift with others which is why I trained as a hypnotherapist. I also trained as an Active Birth teacher and Confident Childbirth Hypnobirthing Practitioner so I could really help women achieve the positive birth experience they wanted.
I use a combined therapeutic approach which incorporates hypnotherapy, NLP, Emotional Freedom Technique, Eye Movement Integration, CBT techniques and Positive Psychology. Having a broad ‘toolkit’ means I can tailor my approach to each client.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy can help with so many issues from phobias, stopping smoking, depression and anxiety to support through cancer treatment and pain management.
